I revisited some photos I took back in February. Heres a shy milky way beginning to come out over some clouds and the rim of Crater Lake. My last edit wasn’t quite “real” enough. I do like to put my touch in post processing my photographs, but I do my best not to stray away from the natural and what our eyes are actually capable of seeing. This photograph does more justice of what I actually saw when I was standing on the rim of the lake in the snow. It’s impressive how, after a long period of time in the dark without artificial light, your eyes adjust and are able to see so much color and depth.
